Vol. 131 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - District Hospital at Cahirciveen.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the cause of the delay in commencing the erection of the Cahirciveen district hospital, County Kerry.

This matter has been in the hands of the local authority since the 31st January last, when the tender for the heating and plumbing work was approved by my Department.

The delay in commencing work on the project has been caused, I understand, by certain difficulties which arose in regard to the completion of the contract documents. However, I am informed that these will be completed this week and the work should then commence without further delay.
