Vol. 131 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Inspection of Laoighis Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will indicate if inspections have been carried out in the case of lands reported to the Land Commission as suitable for division and available to relieve existing congestion in the Spink area near Abbeylaoighis and Ballinakill, County Laoighis; and, if so, what progress has been made towards the acquisition of these lands and when it is hoped to divide them.

The Land Commission inspected three estates in the area in question and decided not to acquire them. Inquiries are being made regarding one other estate in the area.
