Vol. 131 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state why his Department has failed to reply to a request from the Kerry County Council to meet a deputation from the council to discuss departmental delays which have retarded, and are retarding, housing in County Kerry.

The Kerry County Council forwarded a request on the 18th ultimo for the reception of a deputation to discuss a number of matters in connection with their housing programme. In a reply dated the 3rd instant it was indicated to the council that some of the matters referred to had been fully dealt with in letters issued by my Department since the receipt of the council's letter. In regard to the remaining matters the council have been requested to furnish fuller information as to the points which they wish to discuss. On receipt of their reply the matter of the deputation will be further considered.
