A proposal for the acquisition of a site of about 37 acres at Cloughvalley for housing purposes was submitted by the Monaghan County Council on the 24th March last. The council have been informed that the site appears suitable and that, subject to confirmation that it can be satisfactorily sewered, no objection will be raised to its acquisition.
