Social Welfare (Children's Allowances) Bill, 1952.—From the Seanad.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider amendments from the Seanad.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 1:—

In Section 1, sub-section (1), page 2, line 13, the word and brackets "(Amendment)" inserted before the word and figures "Act, 1946".

In this case the word "amendment" was inadvertently left out.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 2:—

In Section 5, page 3, line 58, the words "or made under" inserted before the word "sections".

This is the type of drafting amendment we have been dealing with in the other Bill.
