Vol. 132 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Survey of County Cork Creameries.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is yet in a position to make a statement in connection with the survey of creamery purposes made in the Cahernagh district of Skibberreen; and if he will indicate when these farmers may expect a solution of their milk delivery problem.

Mr. Walsh

I am not aware of any survey of the milk delivery situation in the area to which the Deputy refers and neither am I aware of any necessity for such a survey in that area. As I informed the Deputy in reply to a question on 29th November, 1951, I have no reason to believe that the existing creamery facilities are inadequate in the Cahernagh district of Skibberreen.
