Vol. 132 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rossbeigh Island Bent Grass.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware of the application of the people of Glenbeigh parish, County Kerry, for permission to remove bent grass from Rossbeigh Island for the purpose of thatching dwelling-houses; and, if so, if he will grant the necessary sanction at the earliest possible date.

It is expected that the removal of bent grass from defined sections of Rossbeigh will be authorised before the next thatching season.
