Revised scales of remuneration for senior nursing posts and posts of general trained nurses in provincial district mental hospitals have been formulated and I have, for some time, been in consultation in regard to them with representatives of the mental hospital authorities and of the staffs concerned. When the consultations are completed, which will, it is hoped, occur in the very near future, a recommendation as to the revised scales will be issued to provincial mental hospital authorities.
