Vol. 132 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electric Current for Inishowen.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether it has been arranged that electric current will be supplied to the Inishowen peninsula from Derry City; and, if so, when that arrangement will be carried out.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that current can be obtained from Derry City for supply to the Inishowen peninsula and that the board has under consideration the most effective means of availing of the supply. It is not possible, however, at this stage to indicate when the extension to the peninsula will be completed.
