Vol. 133 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Wexford Water Supply Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the up-to-date position in reference to the proposed regional water supply scheme to cover the Hook, Duncannon, Fethard-on-Sea and Ballycullane areas in South Wexford.

Outline proposals for the South Wexford regional water supply scheme have been approved, subject to the consideration of certain amendments which have been conveyed to the sanitary authority.

The submission of detailed plans is awaited.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to raise the subject matter of Question No. 2 on the Adjournment on Tuesday next—not this evening, as it would be unfair to hold the House.

I will let the Deputy know what decision is come to in the matter.
