Vol. 133 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Closing of Tralee Factory.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that the Irish enamelware factory in Tralee, County Kerry, closed down some time ago and that the premises have been offered for sale in the public Press; and, if so, if he will now state what steps his Department is taking to secure this factory with a view to having it reopened.

Mr. Lynch

I am aware of the facts as stated. If any group, local or otherwise, is prepared to submit a proposal involving the acquisition of these premises for industrial purposes I will give it all possible consideration.
