I have been informed by the Galway County Council that the numbers employed on schemes under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, road works and cottage building on 13th June, 1951, were 55, 963 and 32 respectively and that the numbers employed on 13th June, 1952, were 2, 1,088, and 121 respectively.
