Vol. 133 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Corrib Salmon-net Fishing.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether his Department issues licences for salmon-net fishing in the estuary of the River Corrib, in which a public fishing right exists; and, if not, why not.

Fishing licences are issued in accordance with the Fisheries Acts by the boards of conservators in the respective fishery districts. A licence is not issued in respect of a particular fishery.
