Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Costings Tribunal

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state (a) how many times the Milk Costings Tribunal have met since their establishment, and (b) the personnel of the tribunal.

(a) There have been two meetings of the Milk Production Costs Committee to date. (b) The following are the members of the committee:— Professor T.A. Smiddy, chairman; Mr. Roger Kiely, Mr. Liam Barry (representing suppliers of milk to creameries); Mr. G.J. Hill, Mr. E. P. Linehan (representing suppliers of milk for liquid consumption); Mr. G. W. O'Brien, Miss K. McDowell (representing Prices Advisory Body); Professor M.D. McCarthy, Central Statistics Office; Mr. D.P. Hoctor, Department of Agriculture. Professor Michael Murphy, University College, Cork, is technical director of the costings investigation.
