Vol. 133 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sea Erosion at Tralee.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that several acres of land are being destroyed by sea erosion at the Whitewall, Tralee, County Kerry, and, if so, if he will now state what steps his Department proposes to take to have a protection wall erected there.

The Land Commission have no responsibility for the protection of the land in question. They do not propose to take any action towards the erection of a sea wall, but, because of the erosion affecting one acre, they have reduced the revised land purchase annuity by 4/4.
