Vol. 134 No. 6

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business in the following order: Nos. 2 and 13.

Private Deputies' Business?

At 12 o'clock.

And at 12 o'clock No. 1 of the motions?

As far as the Government is concerned, it is proposed to take the business in the order stipulated, not in any order the Deputy wishes.

There is a Bill.

In view of the statement of the Minister for Local Government the other night that he wishes to have consultation with the Cabinet in connection with the Bill standing in my name—I presume that he has not yet had time to get the Government's opinion on this matter—I would prefer to postpone discussion on the Bill until such discussion has been arrived at.

If it were up to me it could go on to-day.

The next item will be taken.

There will not be any long discussion on that.

I think it likely that Motion No. 1 of Private Deputies' Business will be reached.

Could the Tánaiste tell us when No. 19 will be circulated and taken?

I could not say yet. I should hope that it will be available in two or three weeks.

Could the Tánaiste indicate whether the Agricultural Workers (Weekly Half-Holidays) Bill will be taken next week?

I do not think that it will be taken next week but I have promised the Deputy our co-operation in getting it passed this session.

Before Christmas.
