Vol. 134 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Annagry Sub-Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he has received representations for the establishment of a sub-post office at Loughanure, Annagry, County Donegal; and, if so, if he will indicate his decision on the matter.

Representations have been received for the establishment of a sub-post office at Loughanure. The circumstances do not, however, justify the opening of a post office there.

I am arranging for the provision of a letter-box at Loughanure which, it is expected, will be erected next week.

What is the cost in that case and the saving in the other?

The Deputy might read the report of the Public Accounts Committee in regard to losses on the Post Office account.
