Vol. 135 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Assistance Regulations.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that persons desirous of purchasing copies of the Public Assistance (General Regulations), 1942, and the Public Assistance (Medical Assistance in Dispensary Districts) Regulations, 1942, find it next to impossible to procure them; and, if so, if he will take steps to ensure that ample supplies of these regulations will be available for sale by the Government Publications Sale Office and other usual suppliers.

I am aware that both sets of regulations have been out of print for some time. The reprinting of the Public Assistance (General Regulations) Order, 1942, is in train and it is hoped that copies will be available before the end of the current month. The reprinting of the Public Assistance (Medical Assistance in Dispensary Districts) Order, 1942, has been approved, and I hope that copies of this Order will be available in the near future, possibly before the end of the year.
