Vol. 135 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Dairy Farmers.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that a large number of dairy farmers in County Dublin are going out of business and are selling their dairy cows; and, if so, if he will have inquiries made as to why this is taking place.

Mr. Walsh

I am not aware that a large number of dairy farmers in County Dublin are going out of business. In fact the number of milk producers in County Dublin registered with the Dublin District Milk Board increased by six in the month of November.
