Dáil Éireann debate -
Thursday, 4 Dec 1952

Vol. 135 No. 5

Adoption Bill, 1952—From Seanad. - Order of Business.

In order to conclude the debate on the Supplies and Services Bill this evening an arrangement has been come to that I shall be called upon to speak at 9 o'clock, and that the vote on the Supplies and Services Bill will be taken at 10.20.

Not before it.

Or before it—in order to enable decisions to be taken upon the motions in the name of Deputy MacBride, and, if it is agreed to conclude the other stages of the Bill, I propose that the Dáil sit later than 10.30 and not later than 11.30. The necessity for putting in 11.30 is that I understand there may be some question on the Adjournment.

There are three annulment motions following the Second Stage and then the subsequent stages of the Bill, and, if they are not finished, we have agreed that they will be taken within the one and a half hours of Government time to-morrow.

Agreed.
