Vol. 135 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Deputies' Telephone Calls.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider the possibility of giving Deputies priority telephone calls.

There has been no demand by Deputies for priority facilities. As the no delay service is rapidly extending over the main trunk telephone network the need for priority calls would appear to have even less justification now than formerly.

If Deputies residing in areas where there are still prolonged delays will communicate with me giving particulars of their difficulties I will investigate the problem as a whole.
