Vol. 136 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compound Manure Prices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state why, in view of the fact that the price of sulphate of ammonia has been reduced within the last month, there has been no reduction yet in the price of special compound manures.

The prices of special compound manures do not yet reflect the recent reduction in the price of sulphate of ammonia, for the reason that all the ingredients for the production of the current season's full requirements of compounds were purchased, and substantial quantities of the compounds already manufactured and distributed, before that price reduction became effective.
