*NOTE.—The Parliamentary Secretary attended as a member of the Irish of the Irish delegation to the Conference and not in his official capacity as Parliamentary Secretary.

May I ask if the trip of the Minister for External Affairs to attend the funeral of the late King George will be included and whether, in connection with the same trip, the expenditure of money for a tall hat for the Minister, purchased in Oxford Street, London, will be included?

And very becoming it was on him, too.

It was Deputy Dillon who suggested that question to you.

The Minister knows it is quite true. It was purchased in Oxford Street at the expense of this country. One of the most expensive tall hats in London was purchased by the Minister for the King's funeral.
