asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the amount of fish other than codfish that has been coldstored by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara as from 1st March. 1953, and the amount bought back by wholesalers and at what price.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 53 and 54 together.

I am informed by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara that the amounts of (a) codfish and (b) fish other than codfish coldstored by the board since 1st March, 1953, are 456 stones and 271 stones, respectively. As to the second and third parts of both questions, none of this fish was sold to wholesalers.
