As regards the first part of the question, I would ask the Deputy to await the close of the financial year and the publication of the usual accounts. It is not the practice to supply figures of expenditure on particular votes or sub-heads of votes on a day-to-day basis.
As for the second part of the question, having published the detailed Estimates for the Supply Services for 1953-54 I do not think I should be asked for information which appears therein.
