Vol. 138 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyfermot Playing Fields.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that there are a number of sites for playing parks in the Ballyfermot area which require to be properly laid out as playing fields for children; and, if so, if he has any proposals before him in the matter.

I am aware that the corporation has acquired three sites in Ballyfermot for use as parks and playing fields. The area of the three sites amounts to approximately 57 acres. A detailed scheme for the development of one of these sites is being examined at present and proposals for the development of the remaining sites are awaited.
