Vol. 138 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is in a position to state when an increase in wages will be granted to forestry workers.

For some time past forestry workers have been paid the same rate of wages as the road workers employed by the county council of the county in which the forest lies. Under this system any increase granted to road workers is automatically applied to forestry labourers.
