I have seen a Press announcement to the effect that the project is not being proceeded with.
With regard to published statements that the project received no encouragement from me, the position is thatany firm which is constituted in accordance with the Control of Manufactures Act is free to engage in the business mentioned, and to avail of the existing protective duties.
