The Bill to amend the Factories and Workshops Acts is being drafted. Whilst I am unable to give a firm assurance in the matter, I have some hope that I may be in a position to introduce the measure before the end of the present session.
Is it not correct that as far back as 1947 it was indicated that the main drafting work on the Bill had already been completed? Surely by now is should be advanced to a further stage.
Hardly so far back, because this Bill is largely an amendment of the 1946 Act.
