Vol. 138 No. 17

Written Answer. - Dublin Corporation Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (1) the area of land acquired by the Corporation of Dublin for housing in each of the years 1947 to 1952, inclusive, (2) the amounts paid (including costs) for this land, (3) the number of houses built or proposed to be built thereon, (4) the area of land purchased by the Dublin Corporation for flat schemes for the same years, (5) the amount paid for same (including costs), (6) the subsidies paid or proposed to be paid towards the erection of houses or flats in the cases referred to, and (7) the total cost for (a) houses and (b) flats erected or proposed to be erected on land so acquired.

The information requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department. I would suggest that he might address his inquiry to the offices of the Dublin Corporation.
