The proposals submitted under this grant for the western engineering district of County Cork have been approved in principle, subject to the necessary land being acquired. They include a scheme for the improvement of the section Gour to Cross House of the Castletownbere Allihies road (L.61) at a cost of £10,000. This work is in the neighbourhood of the electoral divisions mentioned by the Deputy.
