Vol. 139 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Approved Hospitals for Internship.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state which hospitals are approved in this country for the purpose of students who are qualifying for the prescribed period of one year's compulsory internship prior to registration.

The approval of hospitals and institutions for the employment of interns for the purposes of the Medical Practitioners Act, 1951, is a matter for the Medical Registration Council.

I am sending to the Deputy, for his information, a list of the hospitals approved, as supplied to me by the council.
