Vol. 139 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kenmare Turbary Development.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the development of turbary on the Kenmare estate, County Kerry, is suspended at present; and, if so, when this work is likely to be resumed.

Over £47,000 was spent on the development of some 2,000 turbary plots on the Kenmare estate. The question of making further funds available is under consideration and a decision will be reached as soon as possible.
