The number of men who secured work through the medium of the Dublin employment exchanges during the month of May, 1953, was 204.
The numbers of men, women, boys and girls registered at the Dublin employment exchanges on the dates in May, 1953 for which figures are available, are shown in a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
In regard to the last part of the question, I would refer the Deputy to the reply given by the Taoiseach to a similar question by Deputy Thomas Byrne on the 21st May last.
