Vol. 139 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Newport Postal Deliveries.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that there is no postal delivery, on Wednesdays, from Lackamore Post Office, Newport, County Tipperary, as a result of which a number of families are deprived of their mail; and, if so, if he will sanction a six-day delivery in that area.

Mr. Boland

The provision of a daily delivery in the Lacamore Sub-Post Office area will be considered when reorganisation of the postal services in the Limerick head office district is undertaken.
