Vol. 139 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Items Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 11 —Vote 27. If not already reached, it is proposed to interrupt business at 1.30 p.m. until 3 p.m. to take No. 11.

May I ask if Government time will be given for Motion No. 34 dealing with the distribution of rates? This is an urgent matter, in view of the fact that the rate books are being prepared.

I mentioned yesterday that we would consider the possibility of allowing some Private Deputies' time before the end of the session, but no arrangement in that regard has yet been made. In any event, there will be legislation dealing with this matter on which the Deputy can express his views.
