Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployment Stamp Purchases.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the number of intermittent unemployment stamps purchased in respect of (a) skilled workers, (b) unskilled workers, and (c) young persons in each of the years 1946 to 1952.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, a Cheann Comhairle, with your permission, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

INSURANCE (INTERMITTENT UNEMPLOYMENT) ACT, 1942.

Numbers of Supplementary Insurance Stamps sold at Post Offices in each of the calendar years 1946-1952 in respect of (a)skilled workers,(b)unskilled workers and(c)young persons.
