asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the Kerry County Council's consulting engineer has now submitted to that body the drawings and report on the feasibility of the erection of a bridge between Valentia Island and the mainland and that the council has submitted to him a request for a grant towards the erection of this bridge; and, if so, if he will state what action is being taken in connection with the matter.
