The estimated loss to public funds arising from the total loss of an Avro Anson aircraft on 8th May, 1953, at Shannon estuary is £6,490.
The cost of repairing the damage resulting from the collision of a corvettewith the quay wall in the Liffey on 27th February, 1953, is estimated to be £9,780.
There was no other collision in the Liffey involving a corvette in recent months.
