Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state on the basis of the latest returns the estimated total of houses which will be built by the Corporation of Dublin in the 12 months ending the 31st December, 1953; and the total number of houses actually built by the Corporation of Dublin in each of the years 1947 to 1952, inclusive.

In the six years commencing on 1st January, 1947, Dublin Corporation completed 645, 500, 1,436, 2,393, 2,271 and 2,147 dwellings, respectively. The corporationestimate that 1,465 further dwellings will be completed during the present calendar year.
