Vol. 142 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Items Nos. 4, 1 and 10—Votes 27, 28, 49 and 66.

When will the House be given an opportunity of dealing with the conduct of Deputy Cowan in Strasbourg?

Or of Deputy Flanagan before the Locke Tribunal.

The conduct of Deputy Flanagan in the House.

I suggest that Deputy Flanagan should wear sackcloth and ashes. It would be an appropriate garb for him.

Everyone in the country will be wearing it in another two years.

Could the Tánaiste give us an indication as to the days on which it is intended to sit and the hour of adjournment on Friday?

This week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday up to 2 o'clock.

For the whole session?

Yes, unless some alternative arrangement can be agreed to. It is obvious, in view of the programme, that we need to meet four days a week for the session.
