Vol. 142 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal National Schools.

Mr. Brennan

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the number of national schools in course of (a) erection and (b) reconstruction in County Donegal at present, and (c) the estimated number of national schools in Donegal the replacement or reconstruction of which it is proposed to undertake in the coming year.

I am advised that there are at present in County Donegal three new schools in course of erection and two schools at which reconstruction schemes are in progress. It is likely that work will be commenced on the erection of four further new schools and on the reconstruction of four further existing schools within the next year.
