Vol. 142 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Fishery Facilities.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether any steps will be taken by him to ensure that quick freeze, fish meal and ice-making plants will be established at Howth and Balbriggan and if he is aware that a proper boat slip is required at Howth.

The position regarding the establishment of plants of the kind mentioned by the Deputy is as stated in the reply which I gave to a question on the same subject on 4th December, 1952.

As to the second part of the question, I have received no representations regarding the need for the provision of a boat slip in the fishery interest at Howth Harbour.
