Vol. 142 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tourist Industry.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will give details of the way he is dissatisfied with the tourist industry, as stated by him at the annual lunch of the Irish Tourist Association, held on 22nd October, 1953; and what he expects to be done in order that he may be satisfied with the industry.

Notwithstanding the very substantial progress which has been and is being made, tourist facilities are capable of further improvement. I expect this improvement to be effected in consequence of the facilities provided under the Tourist Traffic Act, 1952, and the co-operation of all concerned.
