asked the Minister for Finance if he will state, in respect of each maritime county in the Republic, the amount spent by his Department on the improvement and repair of harbours during the years 1951-52 and 1952-53.

The amounts spent by the Office of Public Works and the Special Employment Schemes Office on the improvement and repair of harbours in maritime counties, including the State harbours at Dún Laoghaire, Howth and Dunmore East, were as follows:—
