Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shannon Airport Deficit

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the net deficit on the operation of Shannon airport in the financial year 1952/53.

The net deficit on the operation of Shannon airport in the financial year 1952/53 was £130,018.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state what charge had to be met from the Exchequer in each financial year since 1940/41 to date in respect of the net deficit on the operation of Shannon Airport.

I propose to circulate in the Official Report a tabular statement setting out the information sought by the Deputy.
