Regulations to provide for the introduction of married rates of pay for officers and marriage allowance for other ranks personnel of An Fórsa Cosanta Aitiúil and An Slua Muirí when undergoing full-time training were made on 24th September, 1953, and were made retrospective to 1st January, 1953. As soon as the necessary administrative arrangements have been completed, all arrears of pay and marriage allowance will be paid to the personnel who have undergone periods of full-time training since 1st January, 1953.
