Detailed documents regarding the proposed provision of sanitary services in council houses in Mountmellick were received in my Department from the Laoighis County Council on the 15th ultimo, and are at present being examined. It is hoped to give an early decision. I am not aware of any undue delay in the examination of the proposal and I am not in a position to say when work is likely to commerce.
