Vol. 142 No. 10

Intoxicating Liquor Bill, 1953-First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for the licensing, for the sale of intoxicating liquor, of the omnibus station of C.I.E. in Aras Mhic Dhiarmada at Store Street, Dublin, and of new premises erected in consequence of the demolition by local authorities of existing licensed premises and for other matters connected therewith.—(Minister for Justice.)

Might I inquire if there is any provision in this Bill to license the installation of a clock in Aras Mhic Dhiarmada?

Mr. Boland

Is that the only fault you have to find with it?

Could the Tánaiste tell us when it is intended to take the legislation on relief of rates on agricultural land?

Possibly next week.

Second Stage ordered for next Tuesday.
