Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports and Exports to “Iron Curtain” Countries.

asked the Taoiseach if he will give particulars of the imports from, and the exports to, countries behind the iron curtain during the past 12 months.

While the Deputy's question does not precisely define the limits of the areas concerned, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving particulars of the imports from and the exports to the U.S.S.R. and certain specified European countries during the 12 months ended 30th September, 1953.
